Established in 1991, new ownership saw the need for modern, less intrusive drilling equipment for service in the geophysical exploration industry. Equipment at the time was large and resulted in a very destructive footprint to the local environment. Thus, we began designing and fabricating rubber track machines that were a quarter the size but still aggressively competitive with production when compared to the larger rival machines. Since then we have continually evolved our drills, implementing new safety technology and improving our design to the point we are now able to out perform all larger machines. The environmental footprint of our equipment is now so small there is very little evidence we were even there.

Not only did we create a drill that was environmentally friendly, we designed a rig that was also much safer. With a semi automatic stem handler we eliminated the need for a helper to handle the drill stem and slips. The drill operator controls all operations. Once a driller releases a control all operations stop. Numerous safety shutdowns are also incorporated; rough terrain is easily handled as we have the lowest center of gravity and lowest ground pressure in the industry. We have also focused on reliability, these machines are designed to work in some of the most extreme temperatures anywhere and maintain a nearly perfect track record.

Over the years we have had the opportunity to send our equipment and staff to projects all over North and South America. Not only did our drills produce many times more production than local contractors but we also did it with less downtime, less environmental impact and a very impressive safety record.
